1) This switch turns your strobe head on or off, while simultaneously powering the internal fan.


2) This two-way switch controls your modeling light, which can be used at two different intensities, full power (the double lines), and half power (the single line).


3) This switch, controls whether or not the strobe head beeps when it is ready to fire.


4) This dial controls the power output of the light. At max power, the strobe head outputs 600 watt seconds. With each marked fraction you go down with the dial, you lose roughly a stop of light, 1/2 being 300 watt seconds, 1/4 being 150 watt seconds, etc.


5) This light has multiple functions:

When the light is not on, the strobe head is either not on, or not ready to fire.

When the light is green, the head is ready to fire.

When the light is red, the head is overheating


6) This button can be pressed to test fire your strobe head, and is best used for metering.


7) This button controls whether or not your optical cell is on. When it is on, the strobe head will fire when it senses another flash fire.


8) This is your sync port, allowing you to connect a remote or sync your light directly to your camera.
